Torus Knot Spheres

These gold and silver balls follow a curve that wraps around a torus 23 times one way and 7 the other way. Note that both 7 and 23 are prime, and are thus coprime -- i.e. GCD(7, 23)=1. Any pair of coprime integers form a mathematical knot, and this particular knot is known in mathematical circles as the (23,7) torus knot. Click Here for a version with an inner torus made up of povray's standard lightning texture.
